Our salsa wasn't supposed to become a product.
It started with one of our budget meal videos. We made a simple homemade habanero salsa, shared it online, and the video took off.
Across our social media platforms, it has now been viewed more than 10 million times.
Then someone left a simple comment:
“You should sell that salsa.”
The comment that started Beyond Food Market
So we decided to give it a shot.
That comment became the beginning of Beyond Food Market Habanero Salsa.
We wanted big flavor without making a salsa that's just about heat. Yes, we use habanero peppers, but we balance them with lots of tomatoes and bell peppers, creating a salsa that's bold, flavorful and approachable—not ridiculously hot.
What started as a budget meal video is becoming our first food product.
And we're just getting started.
