Our Plant-Based Artisan Dog Biscuits started with our own dogs and a simple question:
Why is it so hard to find a plant-based dog treat with a short ingredient list we actually feel good about?
After years of living plant-based and feeding our dogs plant-based, we decided to stop searching and start creating.
So we went into the kitchen.
What came out of it was a simple, crunchy artisan biscuit made with just six thoughtfully selected plant-based ingredients.

Helps us create the crisp, crunchy texture we're looking for in every biscuit.

Our Approach
Why We Made Them
This wasn't originally about starting another product.
We were looking for something for our own dogs — one of them was Frankie.
We wanted a plant-based treat that was simple, recognizable and didn't require us to read through a long ingredient panel wondering why everything was in there.
So we started experimenting with our own.
The idea stayed with us. Then something personal happened that reignited it and gave us a reason to take it further.
When we lost Frankie, it changed everything. The recipe we'd been perfecting became a way to remember him — and to give other dog parents something we'd be proud to feed our own. That's why we call them Frankie's Artisan Dog Biscuits.
We went back to the recipe, kept testing, kept baking and decided it was finally time to turn what we were making for our dogs into something we could share with other dog parents.
Because at the end of the day, they're not just dogs. They're family.

We aren't trying to make a dog biscuit with the longest list of trendy ingredients.
We're doing the opposite.
Keep it simple. Make it thoughtfully. And create something we'd be happy to give our own dogs.

A Note for Dog Parents
Lentils are a type of legume. If lentils or other legumes are new to your dog, start with a small amount and monitor how your pup responds.
As with any treat, introduce new foods gradually and feed treats in moderation as part of your dog's overall diet.
